The shooting that occurred in New York Shooting City on Saturday, October 3rd left at least eight people dead and many more injured. In addition to the victims who were killed, there are also those who are still suffering injuries as a result of this tragedy. A local community of the New York Shooting is grieving and trying to cope with this tragedy, but they’re doing so together by banding together and supporting each other through this difficult time.

The local community is grieving:


The local community of New York Shooting is mourning the loss of their loved ones. Family members and friends are still in shock, trying to make sense of what happened at Stoneman Douglas High School and how it could happen in such a small town as Parkland, Florida.

While some people may be blaming guns for the shooting, others are saying that it was an act of domestic terrorism or hate crime against Muslims by an unstable person who had access to multiple rifles that he shouldn’t have been able to get his hands on legally. Either way, there’s no doubt that this tragedy will affect us all in some way over time – whether we’re going through mental health issues ourselves or just having trouble sleeping because we can’t stop thinking about what happened yesterday afternoon (or last week).

  • Donate to mental health organizations like American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP) or Giffords Law Center To Prevent Gun Violence.
  • Donate money directly to hospitals in your area, especially those serving low-income communities where more people have easy access to guns and ammunition because they lack insurance coverage and rely heavily on public assistance programs such as Medicaid. These hospitals will also be crucial resources if there are mass casualties like what happened yesterday afternoon near Stuyvesant High School at Chambers Street the closest hospital was Brooklyn Methodist Hospital at East Flatbush Avenue & Sterling Place where there is currently no update about its ability/willingness/desire

The local community of New York Shooting is banding together to help each other. People are donating food, money, and blood to the victims of this tragedy. People are also volunteering their time to help those in need.
